Adarsha Pratibandhi Samity (Dibyanga), a grass route level NGO in the remotest part of the rural North Bengal area of West Bengal state, providing dedicated services to all kinds of the disabled population, is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1961 vide its Registration No. S/39480 of 1982-83 Dt. 5.1.1983 (Legacy No. 50039480 of 1982-83. It has a strong Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations. The Governing Body consists of various experienced social workers, Disabled Service Technician and also other social workers who are honest, dedicated, and motivated persons from the rural level providing their dedicated services towards all categories of disabled persons such as orthopedically handicapped, Mentally (Instinctual disability) handicapped, visually handicapped, Hearing handicapped, Leprosy cured disability, Multiple categories of disabilities without any discrimination of age, sex, race, religion & political faith of the beneficiaries.

Education is of the greatest importance for the overall development of disabled children as a human being, as well as of the community as a social entity. We devote a great deal of care to several long-term educational activities. We try to involve as many disabled children as possible in this Special School. This special school has been selected to teach the disabled children to make them self-dependent in the society. All members and staff of this school have been working since the beginning of this school and they are dutiful, sincere, and dedicated hard workers.

Adarsha Pratibandhi Samity (Dibyanga) is also registered under the Rights of the Persons with disabilities Act, 2016 vide certificate No. 632(N)/Com.D20/21 Dt. 02/03/2020 under the Commissioner for persons with Disabilities, Government of West Bengal.

Adarsha Pratibandhi Samity (Dibyanga) is also granted Academic Reorganisation by the Government of West Bengal, Directorate of Mass Education Extention Department for the teaching of all categories of the disabled population including visually impaired, Mentally impaired, Hearing impaired, etc vide government of West Bengal Memo No. 1535-Edn (MEE)/3’S”-10/97 Dated 5/12/1997.
